An opportunity has arisen for a full-time office assistant to join our growing team at our offices in Walton on Thames. The role is fully office based, 5 days a week with an hour break for lunch. Our office hours are 8:30am to 5pm.
The focus of this role is to assist our Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the office. This will include working across all departments in the business as well as greeting and liaising with clients.
No 2 days are the same. It is a varied role including greeting clients, managing meeting rooms, answering the phones, receiving, processing and sending post. Ultimately you will be the welcoming face of Bigmores!
You will learn a bit about each department and support them in some of their admin tasks. As well giving you a rounded experience of the whole company, you will really get to know the team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior reception, client facing experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Full training and support will be given.
- Happy to be busy and able to adapt to a situation quickly with an element of problem solving.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Common sense
- Bright and positive personality
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong administration skills
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent task and diary management skills
Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this role is £23,400
