What is Bigmore Associates all about?

Bigmore Associates has been providing specialist financial advice for clients since it was established in 1971. As financial advisors for over 50 years we work hard to put our clients first and guide them towards their lifetime financial goals. A truly long-term outlook has helped us understand that looking at our client’s advice needs from a holistic perspective and providing considered, personalised advice is how we can create the right plan for them.

From helping buy your first home or starting your first pension, all the way to retirement and estate planning, we can help plan for and manage life’s most important financial decisions. We believe in efficiency and using technology to drive good financial planning, not replace it. Common sense will always rule over computer algorithms. Our business has already passed through a different generation of ownership and management taking the best from the experience of our founders and blending it with the systems and technical developments of modern financial services. We know first-hand how to manage intergenerational planning, leaving us perfectly placed to help our clients negotiate the complexities it can cause in their businesses or families.

How has Bigmore Associates adapted to meet client needs?

In half a century the business has grown, developed and evolved from purely financial advisors and we have expanded into complimentary services to meet all our client needs. The addition of employee benefits, payroll solutions, will writing and probate services to the core financial planning and mortgage business has meant we can solve more of our clients concerns in house and cut down on time and expense for them. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive range of services built on the same independent, fair value ethos the business started with more than 50 years ago. We continue to improve and develop our services and knowledge to keep our client’s needs met in an ever-changing landscape.
