Fees & Charges
We offer a free initial consultation where we will assess your overall financial position and gain an understanding of your requirements. Our charges are typically based on an overall fee for the project we undertake for you so will reflect the complexity, likely timescales and scale of the work. Once we have a gauge of the project work we will then provide and accurate quote and wont undertake and chargeable business without your express consent.
All charges/fees will be fully disclosed to you. These will be disclosed in summary form before we undertake any work for you. The precise charges relating to any work or recommendations we make will be confirmed in your suitability report or relevant product disclosure information that is provided to you. There is no additional cost to you for using a means of distance communication.

Adam Nettleship
Managing Director, Chartered Financial Planner
Adam started working for Bigmore Associates on work experience over 15 years ago and after joining the firm full time has worked through every role before taking over as a director 8 years ago. Highly qualified to chartered status Adam combines technical knowledge with strong experience in all aspects of financial planning. As the business owner, Adam ensures the highest standards of advice and service are upheld throughout the business in an ever changing financial landscape.

Julian Strauss
Senior Financial Planner, Certified Financial Planner
Julian has joined Bigmore Associates as a Senior Financial Planner and brings with him over 23 years industry experience in investments and Private Client Wealth Management. Highly qualified as a CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities & Investment, Julian’s passion is to help ensure, with the use of Lifetime Cashflow analysis, that clients have an effective risk managed investment strategy in place to achieve all their medium and longer term financial goals. Julian enjoys a good work life balance and loves spending time with his wife and two sons, especially on the golf course!

Debbie Brant
Compliance and Operations Director
Debbie has over 20 years of experience in Financial Services and initially worked with Bigmores between 2010 and 2016 as a Paraplanner. She rejoined the company in January 2019 and was made a Director of the company on 1st July 2020, with responsibility for Compliance and Operations and supports Adam with the day to day oversight of the business. She is Diploma Qualified and also holds the Pension Transfer, Mortgage and Equity Release qualifications and is currently taking the Advanced Papers and working towards Chartered Status.

David Dunn
Financial Advisor
David joined Bigmore Associates in November 2016 having spent 28 years working at Standard Life Assurance Co as a Broker Sales Consultant and Business Consultant dealing with Independent Financial Advisers in London West End and more recently in the Surrey area. During this time David engaged with Financial Advisers, dealing with Life and Investment Financial product requirements for their clients together with investment management considerations from individual funds through to Discretionary Managed Portfolios. David lives in West Wimbledon and is married with 3 children.

Chris Layzell
Mortgage and Protection Adviser Cert CII (MP & ER)
Chris joined Bigmore Associates in 2013 as a general administrator and has worked up to his current role of Mortgage, Equity Release and Protection Adviser. Chris deals with all aspects of the role including purchases, remortgages, additional borrowing, buy to let mortgages and supporting life cover, as well as becoming an equity release specialist. He is also continuing his professional development with the aim to be a fully qualified financial planner within the next 2 years. In his spare time Chris enjoys getting out on his bike and exploring the countryside.

Cain Stennett
Mortgage and Protection Adviser Cert CII (MP & ER)
Cain joined Bigmores in 2016 and offers advice on all aspects of the mortgage market, protection and equity release. He has experience catering to clients from all walks of life, always aiming to provide clear, concise advice, and is continuing to expand his role at Bigmores by studying for a diploma in financial planning. Outside of work, Cain’s interests include music, cooking and history, in which he has a masters degree.

Aida Dragan
Paraplanner
Aida joined Bigmore Associates in 2018, as a pension and investment administrator, having previously worked as a financial administrator for a wealth management company and as an Assistant Lecturer in Consumer Behaviour and Business Negotiations. She provides support with research, administration and audit as part of the paraplanning team. Aida holds a BA and MA in Business Administration and is currently working towards diploma status.

Owen Salameo
Paraplanner
Owen entered the financial services industry in 2014 as a financial assistant for a well-known wealth management firm. After completing his degree in Banking and Financial Planning, Owen is now working towards Chartered Status and is a key member of the paraplanning team. Whilst developing his career and studying Owen has very little spare time, but when he gets the chance he enjoys keeping tabs on the Fast Track 100, eating out, competitive sports & travelling.

Urszula Grubska
Mortgage Paraplanner
Urszula is CeMap qualified and an experienced administrator. Having previously worked in banking and property, she has joined Bigmore Associates to advance her career as a mortgage paraplanner. She is an enthusiastic team member, providing superb client care, whilst assisting our brokers to ensure the customer journey is the best possible. In her spare time Urszula loves travelling, and enjoys long walks through Richmond Park and along the River Thames.

Emilie Gentleman
Valuations Administrator
Emilie joined Bigmores in 2014 as a financial administrator, having worked in the financial services industry previously. She provides support to the advisers with a variety of research and generates valuation reports for client assets held under management. Emilie has recently moved to a part-time role, since having her first child.

Cheryl Finch
Office Administrator
Cheryl joined us in March 2019 as front of house and she also provides administrative support to the team. Cheryl has lived and worked locally for most of her life. She enjoys walks along the river Thames with her dog, Bert and she particularly loves being with her family, friends and especially, her 2 grandchildren who are the apple of her eye.

Luke Davies
Will Writer & Estate Planner
Qualified as a Financial Adviser over 10 years ago at Bigmore Associates and has come back to run the Will Writing sister company of Bigmore Associates, Bigmore Will Writing. Luke is perfectly positioned to help you navigate the difficult process of leaving the most tax efficient legacies. As well as helping you make the perfect Will he can help with all aspects of Estate Planning.
