It is not uncommon to look at the past before we move into the future. This is particularly true when it comes to investments. We may see a product, stock or portfolio that has historically done quite well and think that getting in on it can lead to an increase in our own wealth.
However we must be aware that, as the disclaimer goes, “past performance is not an indication of future performance.”
